Craig Hott Chairman of Freedom Bancshares, Inc.

Craig Hott was elected to Freedom Bank's Board of Directors in January 2004.  He served as Chairman of Freedom Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Freedom Bancshares, Inc.,  from July 2006 to June 2010.  In June of 2011 he was elected as Chairman of Freedom Bancshares, Inc. Craig is actively involved in several of the family businesses in Pendleton County.  He is Vice President, Director and manager of Hott's Ag Service, Inc. serving the tri-county area of Pendleton, Hardy and Grant counties.  He is also Vice President and Director of Franklin Oil Co., Inc. and served as a Director of Wampler Foods, a major poultry plant, from 1986 to 1999, when the company was acquired by Pilgrims Pride.  Craig is also involved in various community activities, including being an active member of the Pendleton County Farm Bureau, and the Pendleton County Arts Council.  He and wife Paula are parents of two children and reside in Upper Tract.

Linda K. Wellings Chair of Freedom Bank

Linda K. Wellings was elected to Freedom Bank's Board of Directors in July 2003 and was elected Chairperson of Freedom Bank in June, 2010. Linda has served as the  President of MPL Corporation since 1986.  MPL is a high technology company headquartered in Buckhannon, WV.  Linda served as the Chair of the WV Chamber of Commerce.  She was the first female Chair in 70 years.  She also served as Chair of the WV Commission for National and Community Service for two years.  She served on the Commission for nine years and was presented the Distinquished West Virginian Award by the Governor on July 15, 2009.  Linda was been a member of the WV High Technology Consortium for many years and has served on the Affiliate Leadership Council.  She served many years on an advisory board for the Small Business Development Center.  She recently joined the Board of Directors of Mission WV.  Linda serves as a Trustee for WV Wesleyan College.  She is active in her church and serves as prayer coordinator for First United Methodist Church.  Linda and her husband, William (Bud) reside in Buckhannon.
